Wishing one and all a magical Christmas. I’m delighted to share my 2025 Christmas card, which features Merlin in a starry robe, a unicorn and colourful fairies in a fairytale landscape. The design was inspired by my recent visits to Scotland, its mountainous landscape and castles captured my imagination.

Additionally, the card has a stained glass effect which was inspired by a visit to the stained glass museum at Ely Cathedral during the summer. I was totally absorbed by the process of making a stained glass window, and I particularly enjoyed the contemporary examples of stained glass.
Looking back on 2025, it was a career highlight to be selected for the Cheltenham Illustration Awards and attend the opening of its exhibition Future Forecasts.
Also, it has been a pleasure to continue an eleven-year strong collaboration with Dr Stephen Curran. I was delighted to illustrate two brand-new screenplay pitches: The Boy from Capua and The Orphan Prince.
A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone who has supported my creative work. Wishing you a happy, healthy and successful 2026 – from Natalie x
