Christmas 2024

Undoubtedly, my 2024 creative projects have been an exciting journey and evolution with Cricut and Yours magazine. It has been magical to see my illustrations replicated in different sizes, forming a little batch production that I know would have enchanted my MA tutors back-in-the-day.

I’ve always hand-drawn my art work and I still get the enjoyment of inking in and colouring with Cricut. But, I’ve also always embraced digital process. It was so natural to adapt my designs to work on a Cricut machine and the heat presses. It’s really interesting how the process is now reversed… from screen to paper!

Although I’m sending digital Christmas greetings this year, it was lovely to make a few cards, as I have been doing since 2014. It felt right that the “Little Elves” should have a revival!

Thank you so much for the messages of support and curiosity this year (“What’s a Cricut?!”). I turned 40 with optimism and happiness.

Merry Christmas, with love from Natalie x
