In 2014 I held an exhibition at Sheringham Youth Hostel entitled ‘Sheringham: Colours and Carnivals’. It was a series of eight scenes that depicted the quirky weekend events in Sheringham. From the Viking Festival in February, to the 1940s weekend in September, Sheringham has reasons to visit throughout the year.

Some of these pictures have just gone on permanent display in the self catering kitchen at Sheringham Youth Hostel, and to celebrate this I really wanted to revisit the ‘weekend events’ theme and devise two more images to expand the collection.

The original ‘Sheringham: Colours and Carnivals’ scenes can be seen on this website by clicking on this link.
